Associate – Corporate Intelligence & Investigations

Our client is an established international corporate investigations and intelligence firm seeking to appoint a junior Associate to its Singapore team.

The role involves supporting corporate intelligence and investigations assignments across Singapore and Southeast Asia, working closely with experienced investigators on a variety of sensitive and complex matters.

This opportunity would suit an intellectually curious, resourceful individual with an interest in business, investigations and international affairs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct corporate intelligence and investigations research, including integrity due diligence, background investigations, asset tracing, and corporate enquiries.
Gather and analyse information from public records, corporate databases, media sources and other relevant channels.
Conduct discreet enquiries and interviews to obtain information not readily available through conventional research.
Support investigations involving corporate misconduct, fraud, commercial disputes and reputational concerns.
Analyse findings and prepare clear, concise investigative reports for clients.
Develop and maintain professional networks and information sources across Singapore and the wider region.
Support senior colleagues in managing investigative assignments and client requirements.

Candidate Profile

Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, journalism, law enforcement, research or a related field.
Strong research, analytical and investigative skills.
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured reports.
Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Indonesia language capabilities would be advantageous.
Confident engaging with people, asking questions and gathering information through professional conversations.
Resourceful, discreet and comfortable working with sensitive information.
An interest in business, international affairs and understanding how companies and individuals operate.
Must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain the relevant Singapore Private Investigator licence.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of domestic and international investigations, with opportunities to develop specialist investigative skills within an established global firm.
