Corporate Intelligence Specialist, Singapore

Join a leading global corporate intelligence firm advising private equity investors, financial institutions and multinational corporations on high-profile transactions and complex business decisions across Asia.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of enhanced due diligence, investigative and geopolitical assignments, combining open-source research with human intelligence to deliver meaningful insights on some of the region's most challenging and commercially significant issues.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Execute enhanced due diligence, corporate intelligence and investigative assignments for private equity firms, private banks and multinational corporations.
  • Conduct complex open-source and human intelligence-led research across pre-transaction integrity due diligence, political risk, market entry assessments and other bespoke investigative projects.
  • Research high-risk individuals, politically exposed persons and complex corporate structures, identifying reputational, regulatory, sanctions and other integrity-related risks.
  • Analyse and synthesise large volumes of information into clear, concise written reports and verbal briefings for senior management and clients.
  • Support business development by preparing proposals, research plans and client presentations.
  • Contribute to the expansion and development of the firm's Asia-based human source network.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, together with at least one Southeast Asian language.
  • Approximately 1.5-5 years of full-time post-graduate experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, journalism, government, strategic advisory or another relevant analytical discipline.
  • Experience conducting complex open-source research using platforms such as LexisNexis, Factiva and other specialist databases.
  • Strong familiarity with language-specific databases, local media sources and public records.
  • A sound understanding of financial, commercial and legal concepts, with the ability to interpret complex information and exercise sound judgement.
