We are supporting a leading international advisory firm seeking to appoint its first senior business development professional in Asia-Pacific.
Based in Singapore, this individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new client relationships, and expanding the firm's presence across the region. The role requires a commercially minded relationship-builder with a strong professional network, excellent communication skills, and an interest in geopolitical, regulatory, economic, and strategic issues affecting businesses and investors globally.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth across Asia-Pacific.
Identify and engage senior decision-makers within financial institutions, investment firms, multinational corporations, family offices, sovereign investors, and other relevant organisations.
Build trusted relationships with clients and prospects through networking, market engagement, and the effective presentation of the firm's capabilities and insights.
Work closely with research, advisory, and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of client engagements.
Support the planning and execution of events, roundtables, and other client-facing initiatives across the region.
Develop relationships with relevant industry associations, chambers of commerce, professional networks, and membership organisations to enhance the firm's visibility and commercial reach.
What We Are Looking For
Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, account management, or commercial leadership roles.
Experience within advisory, consulting, professional services, risk, intelligence, financial information, research, or related sectors would be advantageous.
Strong network and experience working with financial institutions, investors, or multinational corporations.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and decision-makers.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to originate opportunities and convert relationships into commercial outcomes.
Experience developing partnerships and strategic relationships from initial engagement through to execution and long-term management.
