Overview
Our client is an international advisory firm operating across strategic intelligence, geopolitical analysis, and complex problem-solving for clients in business, investment, and government.
They are seeking a Singapore-based Manager to support and lead work across Southeast Asia, with broader coverage across APAC. The role covers analysis and advisory, helping clients understand and navigate political, regulatory, and reputational risk.
This is a client-facing position combining research, analysis, and delivery, with increasing exposure to relationship management and commercial development.
Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality risk and strategic advisory work across Southeast Asia and wider APAC, supporting clients in making informed decisions in complex and fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver geopolitical and strategic analysis across Southeast Asia and APAC, with relevance to investment, corporate, and government clients
Lead and support due diligence and intelligence assignments, including market entry, stakeholder mapping, and reputational risk assessment
Translate complex political, regulatory, and commercial dynamics into clear, decision-ready advice
Engage with and develop networks of sources across business, policy, and advisory communities
Support senior stakeholders in client delivery and relationship management
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and client discussions
Mentor junior team members and maintain high standards of written output
Candidate Profile
8–10 years’ experience in strategic advisory, corporate intelligence, policy, or a related field
Strong Southeast Asia experience, with broader exposure to APAC (India and/or Australia advantageous)
Experience delivering analysis and advisory work to clients in investment, corporate, or government environments
Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured outputs
Commercial awareness and interest in developing client relationships
Established or developing regional network across business, policy, or advisory circles
Additional regional language capability advantageous
