Investigative Due Diligence Analyst
Languages: Arabic, German, Russian, Mandarin, or Portuguese strongly preferred


We are seeking intellectually curious and commercially aware graduates to join the investigative due diligence team of a leading advisory company.

This role involves researching and analysing reputational, regulatory, and integrity risks linked to individuals, companies, and transactions across global markets.

Suitable for early-career professionals with a qualitative research degree – in history, politics, languages or other similar fields – and be multilingual.

Responsibilities
 
  • Conduct open-source research and media analysis on companies and individuals across multiple jurisdictions
  • Identify and assess red flags including corruption, political exposure, sanctions, litigation, and reputational concerns
  • Draft clear and concise written reports for use in compliance, legal, and investment decision-making
  • Collaborate with senior researchers to address complex, multi-jurisdictional assignments
  • Develop regional or thematic expertise in areas such as offshore structuring, enforcement actions, or sector-specific risks
  • Support training, client delivery, and business development initiatives as experience grows

Required Skills and Experience
 
  • Master’s degree in history, politics, international relations, law, or languages
  • Fluency in written and spoken English in a professional context
  • Fluency in at least one additional language, preferably: Arabic, German, Russian, Mandarin, Turkish, Spanish, or Portuguese
  • Prior experience in a research or investigations context (academic, journalistic, commercial, or legal) is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and written presentation

  • Demonstrate strong research and writing skills under time pressure
  • Have an interest in global affairs, political risk, and regulatory issues
  • Are confident handling sensitive or ambiguous information sources
  • Are comfortable working on multiple assignments simultaneously
