Key Responsibilities
- Conduct public domain research on companies and individuals using open-source and proprietary tools.
- Translate documents or information in Chinese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia (as applicable).
- Gather, assess, and summarise information from internal and external sources.
- Analyse findings and present insights clearly and concisely.
- Prepare written reports in English or a relevant local language, in line with company standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members on regional or thematic assignments.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. political science, international relations, law, journalism, or finance).
- Fluency in Chinese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia is essential; written and spoken English must also be of a high standard.
- Prior experience in research, due diligence, business intelligence, investigations, journalism, or financial services is desirable.
- Demonstrated interest in Southeast Asia and knowledge of regional dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, editorial, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle complex, often ambiguous information with accuracy and sound judgment.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency with MS Office and online research tools.
- Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
