Director – Investigations & Disputes Advisory

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director to lead high-value investigations, with a focus on complex disputes and international asset tracing. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep investigative expertise, strong client management skills, and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-border investigative assignments, particularly in support of litigation, arbitration, and asset recovery
  • Develop case strategies, present methodologies to clients, and oversee project execution to a client-ready standard
  • Prepare proposals, reports, and deliverables that meet the highest standards of analytical rigour and clarity
  • Manage billing, case profitability, and internal resourcing for multiple concurrent matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including conversion of new opportunities into live engagements
  • Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
  • Contribute to the firm’s internal initiatives and operational growth

Requirements:
  • 8–12+ years of experience in corporate investigations, ideally with a focus beyond pre-transactional due diligence or basic integrity reviews
  • Proven expertise in international asset tracing and the ability to articulate investigative strategy and methodology
  • Track record of leading complex cases with minimal supervision, including client engagement and delivery
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing project financials and business development activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior legal and corporate stakeholders
  • UK or UAE experience strongly preferred; willingness to travel internationally as required

Preferred:
  • Experience across a diverse range of dispute-related investigations, including fraud, enforcement, or reputational matters.
  • Prior background in consulting, legal, intelligence, or financial investigations
  • Arabic language skills (for UAE-based candidates) would be advantageous
