The role is to be the Capital Markets Compliance lead in Asia with a focus on FX Trading. You will be providing regulatory guidance and advice to ensure business is conducted in compliance with regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters for FX trading venues in APAC.
- Ensure delivery of compliance framework for the business line in Asia.
- Provide compliance advice and assurance to the businesses
- Develop, implement and maintain compliance processes
- Identification, analysis and communication of regulatory developments.
- Regulatory/industry horizon scanning
- Periodic risk assessment
- MI reporting and reporting to management, Board and Committees.
- Partner with risk, legal and audit
- Regulatory liaison
Skills and Experience
- Experienced capital markets compliance manager with at least 12 years of experience
- Ideally investment bank, brokerage, exchange, regulator, or other capital markets background
- Expert understanding of FX trading
- Detailed knowledge of regulations applicable to FX trading in Singapore a must
- Exposure to regulations in Southeast Asia and India favourable
- Understanding of global regulatory landscape for trading useful (e.g. US, EU, UK)
Salary Guide:
- ~$240,000 base
