Enterprise Risk Management Lead

As a key member of the enterprise risk management team, you will be responsible for enhancing the company’s understanding of and approach to risk management, taking the existing ERM framework to the next level, and improving risk culture at the same time.
This is a highly visible role, where you will interact with every area of the business, across all functions and units, including company leadership and Board-level engagement.
You will be a trusted expert in risk management, with your opinions and analyses influencing how the company operates and evolves.
The role:
Maintain and enhance risk governance and reporting
Advise Senior Management and the Board on risk management.
Update risk framework, ensure always fit for purpose and adapts to evolving conditions.
Partner with business/functions to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
Oversight of risk identification, risk monitoring and risk controlling
Key Risk Indicators (KRI) reviews
Horizon / threat scanning
Run individual/group engagement/training exercises to promote risk awareness and understanding
Utilise technology to create risk MI, dashboards, tools to improve efficiency of identifying and managing risk
Profile:
8-12+ years of audit, controls and risk experience
3+ years in enterprise risk management at a major/complex company
Excellent knowledge across governance and risk management
Proven track record of enhancing risk frameworks, controls, culture and awareness
Ability to engage with business/function/company management/leadership on risk
Professional audit or risk certification well regarded (CCSA, CERM, CIA, CRMP)
A demonstrable interest and passion for risk management
Desire to innovate and improve enterprise risk management
